Kim Dae Sung is an emerging South Korean Fashion Designer and the Founder and Creative Director of Kimoui. 

After graduating from a Bachelor’s course in Fashion Design/Apparel in South Korea, Kim decided to deepen his knowledge of Italian fashion and the Made in Italy culture by pursuing a Master's course in Fashion Design Menswear at Istituto Marangoni Milano Fashion in 2019. During his studies, Kim had the opportunity to participate in academic projects with renowned brands such as Woolrich and Alanui (New Guards Group). In 2019, while he was still a student at Istituto Marangoni, he took part in the IDA Design Awards, winning the Silver Prize in the Pret-a-Porter/Men category with his project "the dawn of Duomo Cathedral." Previously, in 2018, he had also participated in competitions in South Korea, such as the Korea Textile Design Competition and the Hanji Textile Competition.

In 2021 Kim returned to his home country to establish his brand, Kimoui. The brand stands out for developing unisex pieces characterized by high quality and a formal and genderless aesthetic. 
Since its foundation, Kimoui has distinguished itself among the emerging Korean brands by participating in international fairs and tradeshows, notably the Tranoï Show in Paris in September 2022 and 2023. Notably, in 2023, Kimoui was selected as one of the six new Korean talents presented by GFCS during the Paris trade show. This showcasing completed the offering of Korean brands in conjunction with the 'kfashion82 curated by Shinsegae' initiative. 

During 2023, Kimoui received further recognition by winning the Rookie Designer Award at the Korea Designer Fashion Awards. In 2024, the brand was selected  among the most relevant emerging Korean brands to participate in White Milano as part of the collaboration between the Milanese trade show with Kfashion82.
