Camilla
Scalfi
Camilla Scalfi is a talented architect and interior designer, currently based in Milan.
After studying architecture, Camilla attended a Master's course in Interior Design at Milano Design, graduating in 2018. While she was still a student at Istituto Marangoni, she had the opportunity to participate in a contest in collaboration with Ilva, where her “Perfect Imperfection” product was selected and put into production.
Camilla kick started her career collaborating with design studios, mainly dealing with Interior and Lighting design on small- and large-scale projects. After a few years, she began working as a freelancer, initially dedicating herself to residential projects and then moving into the world of temporary installations and exhibitions. Over the years she has also been involved in research with publications of articles regarding architecture, design and new trends, some of which were featured on Interni Magazine. Her professional activity continues as a consultant in the fashion sector, dealing with project management at a corporate level.
The experience obtained in the field allowed her to collaborate with Milano Design school, where she works as a tutor for three-year design courses.
Since 2018, Camilla is also a member of Prisma Project, the I'M Community Group that gathers young talented designers from Istituto Marangoni Milano Design School and promotes their collaboration with prestigious design firms. Through the Group, she has worked on various products, including "Corridoio", a glass accessory presented during Design Week 2019 and designed for Ooniko, and "Stripe", designed for Mirage and showcased during the 2023 Fuori Salone.
