Ani Datukishvili is a Georgian designer: after attending the Foundation Year in Fashion Jewellery and Accessories at Central Saint Martins in London, she moved to Paris to study Fashion Design at Istituto Marangoni, where she graduated in 2015. After several short-term internships, she moved back to Tbilisi to collaborate with a Georgian brand and her FW16/17 collection was presented at Tbilisi Fashion Week. In 2016 Ani established her own luxury brand in Tbilisi, for which she is also the creative director. The first SS17 collection was presented at Tbilisi Fashion Week and was published by magazines like Vogue UK, Vogue Italia, Vogue Russia, Elle Italia, Elle USA, Nowfashion, W magazine, HighSnobiety, etc. Ani’s collection impressed many international journalists, who interviewed her and wrote editorials for major magazines. Her brand had two more shows at TFW – FW 17/18 and SS18 – and is now sold internationally in several multibrand stores. In 2017 Ani became creative director at Zoma (new streetwear fashion brand launching in December 2017), which will be the first mass production Georgian brand sold locally and internationally.
