With fashion in her blood, Alice Etro entered the fashion business as a designer very young, at the age of 25. She was born in Milan on 15^th August 1987, her mother, Monica Bottigelli of the Miani family, and her father, Kean Etro of the Maison family, carrying the same name. Growing up in the “City of Fashion”, Alice graduated from the German school and then successfully completed a three-year course of Fashion Design at Istituto Marangoni, nurturing family talents. Her creations – the collection designed for her final examination - showed on the catwalks of Milan and Paris. On graduating from Marangoni, she started working at Larusmiani, a family-run business where her uncle Guglielmo Miani is CEO. Alice began as Liborio Capizzi’s assistant and then, after having co-operated with many young creative designers, she debuted with her first collection, creating FW2013/14 Larusmani’s Women’s Collection. From 2014, Alice held the position of Director of Men and Women Production at Larusmiani, after eventually becoming the company’s Head of VIP Relations and Special Projects Manager from 2017 to 2019. 

Nowadays, Alice is the creative director for the Italian country at Westwing, a leading and well-known interior and decor e-commerce platform.
