Validated programmes at The School of Fashion & Art in Firenze
The School of Fashion & Art in Firenze is authorised to launch educational programmes and issue the related First Level Academic Diploma - the equivalent of a three-year degree - as per specific Ministerial Decrees.
The current programmes that lead to a First-Level Academic Diploma for the Florence School are:
After successfully completing the programmes, participants will receive a First-Level Academic Diploma for 180 ECTS credits as per their Study Plan.
As with all Istituto Marangoni three-year courses, these validated programmes are for participants who aspire to a career in fashion or art and allow them to continue their studies at Italian and international academies and/or universities or to work in their chosen field.
The School of Fashion & Art in Firenze is authorised to launch programmes and issue the related First Level Master’s degree as per specific Ministerial Decrees.
The current programmes that lead to a First-Level Master’s Diploma for the Florence School are:
After successfully completing the course, the participants will receive a First Level Master’s Diploma, equivalent to a postgraduate course, for a total of 60 credits as per their Study Plan.
These programmes are for participants with a recognised and validated degree who wish to specialise in fashion and art with a postgraduate course that will strengthen the knowledge and skills required to work in the above areas.
The programmes use various teaching and learning methods, including seminars, tutorials, workshops, lectures, individual monitoring of the work done, group projects, laboratory activities and personal research.
Istituto Marangoni Firenze · The School of Fashion, Art, Fragrances & Cosmetics is authorised to launch educational programmes and issue the related Second Level Academic Diploma as per specific Ministerial Decrees.
After successfully completing the programme, the participants will receive a Second Level Master’s Diploma, equivalent to a post-graduate course, for a total of 120 credits as per their Study Plan.
These programmes are for participants with a recognised and validated degree who wish to specialise in fashion with a postgraduate course that will strengthen the knowledge and skills required to work in the above areas.
The programmes use various teaching and learning methods, including seminars, tutorials, workshops, lectures, individual monitoring of the work done, group projects, laboratory activities and personal research.
The Ministry of University and Research (MUR) recognises the aforementioned First Level Academic Diploma and First Level Master's Academic Diploma as equivalent to a three-year and postgraduate degree, respectively.
AFAM (Alta Formazione Artistica, Musicale e Coreutica) is a section of the Italian Ministry of University and Research (MUR) that is responsible for validating Higher Education Institutes that perform training, production and research in the field of art, specifically the sectors of the visual arts, music, dance, drama and design.
These AFAM-validated programmes issue academic credits (CFA - Crediti Formativi Accademici) that are equivalent to university qualifications with the European standard ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System).
