The second Istituto Marangoni School in China after the one in  Shanghai will be officially inaugurated on Tuesday, October 18th in Shenzhen, at the heart of the Nanshan District. The new School will bring Istituto Marangoni Italian DNA and distinctive international vocation to Shenzhen, one of the most dynamic metropolises of today's China and among the most modern and flourishing in the world. The objective, as pointed out by Roberto Riccio, Group Managing Director of Istituto Marangoni, is to “enhance and export the creativity, quality, and innovation ability of Italian fashion” The school is the result of collaboration between Istituto Marangoni and Shenzhen Oriental Fashion Communication Co. LTD, represented by Luo Zheng, Design Director of Omnilauo and a prominent figure of the Chinese fashion system. The school will host courses in Fashion Business, Fashion Design, Fashion Buying and Merchandising, Luxury Brand Management and Promotion, and Image Consulting; organised in under graduate and post-graduate programmes, and short courses. Special corporate tailor-made courses will be dedicated to the wide public of local professionals and firms working in fashion. The opening of the new Istituto Marangoni Shenzhen is part of the Group's ambitious program of expansion, foreseeing no less than three new openings in 2017, in Miami, Mumbai and Dubai.
